Veneers done right don't announce themselves. They look like your teeth, only better. At Tanglewood, every veneer is designed against your face, your bite, and your long-term health. Not a catalog.

Many individuals with complex dental issues struggle to find comprehensive, personalized solutions that effectively restore both the appearance and function of their smile. They often face fragmented, impersonal care that relies on outdated technology and invasive techniques, leading to sub optimal results.

Tanglewood is a certified Digital Smile Design practice. Every smile makeover is evaluated against five clinical and aesthetic standards before treatment begins and before any permanent work is done.
Complete digital records, scans, photography, and facial analysis captured before planning begins
Smile designed digitally against the face, proportions, shape, and character before any tooth is touched
A physical or digital preview of the result so you can experience what the outcome will look and feel like
Every preparation and restoration guided by the digital plan reducing error and improving predictability
Final result evaluated against the original design ensuring the outcome matches what was planned and approved
The three fears we hear most.

Fake-looking veneers come from one of two places: a design that ignores the face, or materials chosen for brightness over believability. At Tanglewood, every veneer is designed against your specific facial proportions using the DSD framework. We use ceramics that reflect light the way natural enamel does. The goal isn't impressive at first glance — it's undetectable at every glance.

This is one of the most important concerns to take seriously, and we do. Our commitment to conservative preparation means we remove as little healthy tooth structure as possible. We also use a digital preview and in many cases a physical mock-up so you can experience the result before anything permanent happens. No commitment until you've approved it — completely.

Longevity starts with the foundation. Veneers placed on a stable bite, using high-quality ceramics, with conservative prep and proper occlusal management regularly last 15–20 years or more. The shortcuts that cause early failure — skipping bite work, using inferior ceramics, aggressive prep — are the same shortcuts we refuse to take.

Not with a conservative approach. How much tooth structure needs to be removed depends on the existing alignment, the ceramic thickness required, and the design goals. In some cases — particularly where there's already some protrusion or crowding — prep requirements are minimal. We guide preparation using the digital plan, not habit or convenience, and we always remove the least amount necessary.
Sometimes — and we'll tell you honestly when we think it matters. Placing veneers on teeth that aren't in their optimal position can require more aggressive prep to achieve the aesthetic result, and it can compromise the bite in ways that shorten the lifespan of the restorations. When alignment will meaningfully change the outcome or the longevity, we recommend addressing it first. When it won't, we won't add treatment just to add it.
Veneers placed on a stable bite, using high-quality ceramics, with proper occlusal management regularly last 15–20 years or more. The main causes of early failure — unstable bite, inferior materials, overly aggressive prep — are the same things we're most rigorous about avoiding. We also discuss night guard use and maintenance habits at the start of every case.
Yes — replacing aging or aesthetically unsatisfying veneers is one of the most common cases we see. We'll evaluate the existing restorations, the underlying prep, and your current bite before recommending a plan. In most cases we can improve significantly on the original result. Come in with photos of what you don't like — that's often the most useful starting point.
Yes — and this is non-negotiable for us. We use Digital Smile Design to show you the planned result, and in most cases we create a physical mock-up you can wear temporarily so you can experience the shape and proportion in real life. Nothing permanent happens until you've approved the design. This is the most important protection against the outcome you're afraid of.
