Beautiful, yes.
But first,
believable.

A smile makeover at Tanglewood is not about creating the most dramatic transformation. It's about designing a smile that looks like it was always yours — natural, refined, and made specifically for your face.

Our Philosophy

You've seen what it looks like when cosmetic dentistry gets it wrong.

You've seen it on someone you know — a friend, a colleague, someone in your social circle. Smiles that are too bright, too square, too perfect in a way that reads as artificial rather than beautiful. It doesn't look like them anymore. And they can't take it back.

You're not afraid of improving your smile. You're afraid of losing yourself in the process. That's a legitimate concern, and it's one we take seriously at every stage of treatment.

A smile makeover at Tanglewood Dental Associate begins with your face, your bite, and your health. The result is refinement, not replacement. Enhancement, not reconstruction. A smile that is unmistakably, undeniably yours.

The Tanglewood difference

Treatment is built
around your face — not
a standard package

Every smile makeover at Tanglewood is a custom treatment plan. Depending on your needs and goals, it may include any combination of the following:

01

Digital Smile Design (DSD)

A fully digital planning process that maps your smile to your face before any treatment begins. You see the result before we touch a tooth — and we refine it together until it's right.

02

Veneers

Thin ceramic restorations that correct color, shape, proportion, and minor misalignment. At Tanglewood, veneers are designed to complement your face — not overpower it.

03

Orthodontics / Invisalign

Many smile makeovers begin with alignment — because moving teeth to their correct position before adding restorations produces results that last significantly longer.

04

Composite bonding

For targeted refinements — closing gaps, restoring chips, improving proportion — bonding offers a conservative option that preserves healthy tooth structure.

05

Crowns & anterior restorations

Where existing restorations are failing or structurally compromised, we replace them with dentist-designed, in-house fabricated ceramics matched precisely to your smile design.

06

Whitening

Used as a finishing element or as a standalone improvement. We match whitening to the overall aesthetic plan — never as a starting point that forces the rest of the work to catch up.

Your Guide Through This Process

"Most failed implants don't fail because of the titanium. They fail because the restoration wasn't designed with enough precision — wrong angle, wrong position, wrong relationship to the bite. That's exactly why we plan the crown first, and the surgery second."

Dr. Reynolds Lawnin's biomedical engineering background means every implant case is approached as a structural problem: where does the force go? What does the bite look like in 20 years? How will the crown interact with adjacent teeth and facial anatomy?

These aren't questions most implant providers ask. At Tanglewood Dental Associates, they're the starting point. The result is an implant that doesn't just fill a gap, it functions, looks, and lasts like a natural tooth.

"Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Suspendisse varius enim in eros elementum tristique. Duis cursus, mi quis viverra ornare, eros dolor interdum nulla, ut commodo diam libero vitae erat."

What We Do For You

Many individuals with complex dental issues struggle to find comprehensive, personalized solutions that effectively restore both the appearance and function of their smile. What Sets Us Apart

Cookie-Cutter Cosmetics
vs. What We Do

Generic Cosmetic Dentistry
One-size smile template applied regardless of face shape, age, or personality
Veneers placed without first addressing bite or alignment — compromising longevity from day one
Overly white uniform aesthetics that announce themselves in every photo
No preview — you see the result for the first time when the work is already permanent
Rushed treatment that skips the foundational steps to get to the aesthetic work faster
The Tanglewood Approach
Smile designed facially — proportions, shape, and character mapped to your specific face
Bite and alignment addressed first when needed — we don't compromise long-term health for short-term aesthetics
Natural, believable results — beautiful because they look like they belong, not because they're conspicuous
Digital preview and smile test drive before any permanent work begins
No shortcuts. Every step done in the right order, for the right reasons.

What Patients Ask
Before Committing

How do I know the results won't look fake?

This is the most common concern we hear, and it's well-founded. The entire Tanglewood philosophy is built around avoiding exactly that result. We design to your face, not to a template. We use a digital preview so you approve the aesthetic before anything permanent happens. And we don't place restorations without first addressing bite and alignment — which is where most fake-looking results come from.

Do I need Invisalign before getting veneers?

Sometimes, yes — and we'll tell you honestly when we think it's necessary. Placing veneers on a compromised bite is one of the most common reasons cosmetic work fails prematurely. When alignment will meaningfully improve the outcome or the longevity of the restorations, we recommend it. When it won't change the result, we won't recommend it just to add to the treatment plan.

Can I see what my result will look like before anything is done?

Yes — that's a core part of our process. Using Digital Smile Design, we create a digital preview of your result and in many cases a physical mock-up you can wear temporarily. Nothing permanent happens until you've seen it, lived with it, and approved it. This is one of the most important things that separates our approach from a standard cosmetic consultation.

How long does a smile makeover take?

It depends entirely on the scope of treatment. A focused case involving bonding or limited veneers might be completed in a few weeks. A comprehensive case involving Invisalign, veneers, and restorations could take 12–18 months. We'll give you a clear timeline at your consultation and sequence treatment so the most impactful changes happen as early as possible.

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer interest-free payment plans that allow you to spread treatment cost over time without a large upfront payment. We'll walk through payment options in detail at your consultation. We don't push third-party financing with high interest rates — our goal is a plan that works for your life.
