We allot 90 minutes for a guided implant placement. Most are finished in 30 to 40 minutes. That's not because we're rushing. It's because the actual difficult work, figuring out exactly where the implant needs to go, what the bone looks like, whether any adjustments are needed, happened in the planning stage, well before you're in the chair.

By the time you're actually having the procedure, there's no guessing left to do. We're not making judgment calls mid-surgery about where things should go. That was decided, digitally, in advance. The result is a procedure that's quick, predictable, and free of the kind of surprises that turn a routine appointment into a long one.

That's really what good surgery should look like: not dramatic, not lengthy, just quick and exactly according to plan, because the thinking was already done.
